Hello! This journey has been so arduous, yet so enjoyable! I think it all started when I was in 4th grade and got a Raspberry Pi 3 for the Holidays. I was fascinated by it and began tinkering around! Since it didn't come with any instruction manual, I decided to post a YouTube Video explaining step by step how to build it. Since then, I've spent numerous hours coding and competed in the United States Computing Olympiad. Coding isn't my only passion, I've also been playing Chess since I could remember. I was so fascinated that I started practicing countless hours a day. Within a short time, I won the California State Chess Championship, so the Almanac wrote a cover article about me! I was honored to receive a Certificate of Achievement from the Menlo Park Mayor, Kirsten Keith, at their annual board meeting. The next thing I knew, I was off to the U.S. National Championships, and was awarded the Silver Medal for becoming the Co-Champion. I was selected to lead Team USA at the Pan American (SA and NA), where I won the Bronze Medal, which helped the U.S. Win the Gold Medal! After my performance at Chile, Team USA selected me as a representative in the World Chess Championships! All of this propelled me to stand in the Top 15 In The US! Another well-known newspaper decided to include me as one of their 5 Mover And Shakers! My chess journey hasn't stopped, and I hope that whatever hurdles come my way, I'll still be able to tackle them down and reach the finish line.
